Annexe Building

This site contained a derelict agricultural building, so the brief was to create an annexe within its original footprint. The annexe would provide ancillary accommodation to the existing barn conversion, which would be used as an entertainment space for the clients. With it being a new build, it was important to create a building that nestled in to its surroundings. The use of cladding allows the structure to retain its agricultural essence. The project was challenging due to satisfying the planning department as the original barn is listed. Overall the scheme is very successful and fits well in the landscape.
